  2. The opening sequence fits in with the genre the film which is a love comedy. The credits that were used went really well with the genre of the film also. There was various shots that was used that gave me a chance to see expressions on the faces of the main character, a lot of close up shots were used to show the reaction of the main character while being picked on because he is different then the others.

Mise en scene used in your extract was really good as it implements a funny/ love theme. The costumes used fits in with a typical nerd which tells us that he is a nerd. The voiceover used was effective as it fits in perfectly with the clips. In addition the back ground music that was used went really well with the genre of the film.

How ever, i realised some down falls in the extract in the beggining there was a camera that was stiff.

  4. In the beginning of the film, I loved the font you have chosen for the titles. It looks simple and comical. I also loved the music throughout the opening sequence. It suited most of the scenes it went with and had created a comical atmosphere. Also, when ‘Barry’ leaves the house with his book, the menacing song suits the scene as it creates a sense of foreboding.
There were some brilliant shots I have also noticed. The close-ups of the characters within the film really express their personalities and the shots used makes the opening sequence understandable. However, in the beginning when ‘Barry’ walks into school, I have noticed the tilt to be a bit jaggy. This is the only fault I could find. The rest of the camera work seemed fine.
The voice over had suited the film. It had told me of what ‘Barry’ had been thinking throughout his morning which had connected me with him.
The mise-en-scene was fairly fit for the video as well. The costumes had expressed the characters and the props made the environments more believable.

    Well done guys! :D
